Nazim Karachi, Naimatullah Khan has, in the light of resolution of City Councils declared February 2 a local holiday on the occasion of Urs of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi. The offices of City District Government Karachi Town and Union Council Municipal Administrations as all schools under City Government will remain closed on Wednesday.

However, the staff of Town Municipal Administration Saddar, Jamshed, Shah Faisal and Gulshan Iqbal Towns on Expo-2005 duty will remain present on duty on February 2.
